Currency Exchange in the Military

January 28th, 2012 by admin

When I was in the Navy, we spent some time in port in Australia. The Navy had a special place on the ship where we could make our currency exchange before we deboarded the ship. That way, we were all set with our money before we headed into town on furlough. It seemed like we always had enough money in our pockets when we headed out, but it didn’t take long before we were broke, and had to head back to ship.
