Estate Tax is one of the worst taxes that prevents wealth creation and economic growth. Only beneficiaries of the Estate Tax are the lawyers, accountants, financial planners and insurance agents. Our country is a factory of ideas, innovations and entrepreneurs. Estate Tax forces the entrepreneurs to plan for reducing their taxes rather than to plan for growing their wealth. When they live you tax them with Income Tax, Gift Tax, GSTT, Sales Tax, various Sur-Charges, Fees, Tolls and Fines. Why can’t you leave them alone at least whey they are dead. PLEASE ABOLISH THE ESTATE TAX or make it a FLAT RATE TAX @ 20% or less of the total value of the Estate on date of death. Kiran Hari, New York.
